Can dogs eat canned peas

Can dogs eat canned peas?

I've read that dogs cannot eat anything that they have cooked. I've read that dogs can eat things like corn but you should never feed your dog raw corn. I've heard that peas, carrots, corn, etc. are toxic to dogs. What's the truth on this?

Yes dogs can eat peas.

They are just as safe as any other food for dogs, and more. Peas are actually a healthy dog food because they're high in protein. Peas are also a good source of vitamin B6 and iron, and are low in sodium and cholesterol.

Peas are a wonderful dog food as they can be found in many dog food brands and they are very good. Peas can be found in cans or frozen. They can be found in the pet stores at low to mid-range prices. It is best to use organic peas for your dogs.

I also like to feed canned foods to my dog. Canned foods are also a healthy dog food, especially the kind you buy at the pet store, or find in a box at a grocery store.

It can be really dangerous to feed your dog food that you cooked and not sure what else might be in there. We bought some frozen peas that were on sale that we thought were just frozen peas. But when my dog ate them she had a stomach ache for a while, and we ended up taking her to the vet. So I can see where that would be an issue, especially if you don't know how long the food you're feeding them is sitting around, so you don't know what else might be in it.

There's nothing wrong with feeding canned food to your dog as long as it's a good quality canned food and you're sure the dog can digest it well. If you're feeding a canned diet for health reasons it's a good idea to make sure you're getting a diet that has not been "enhanced" with fillers like rice or corn. If you can find a food that is made for dogs that has not been enhanced with these types of fillers, it's a good choice. Good quality canned food is not dangerous for your dog.

My dog is 9 years old, he is not as active as he used to be. He is getting old and he does not like eating wet food or canned food, he prefers dry food. I know you shouldn't feed a dog anything with chicken but can I feed him dry food?

You need to talk to your vet and make sure your dog has enough of a good quality protein level. There are some protein levels that are low enough to prevent kidney problems for a dog that eats mostly dry food. However, if your dog has been eating dry food for years and his diet isn't high enough, it may not be enough for him. You really need to talk to your vet on this matter.

There is nothing wrong with feeding a dog raw chicken. There are people who even feed raw beef and pork, but there are some reasons why you should not do this.

First of all, raw meat can contn parasites, so this is a potential health risk to you dog. Second, you dog can end up with an upset stomach or diarrhea, and this can make him ill. So, there are really no good reasons to feed your dog raw chicken. If you feed your dog a diet with raw meat, make sure you read about it and do it properly, and make sure your dog can handle it.
