Smoked bones for dogs

When I say smokin’ hot bones, I’m not exaggerating. These are so hot that they will make your dog jump up and down and squeal with joy when you stick in your favourite treat.

And we also like to make a delicious broth from the bones too, so it makes sense to keep a bag of bones in the freezer ready to throw in the pot when you are short of time.

The great thing about this recipe is that all the ingredients come in one big bag which means they will fit in your freezer ready for you to pop in your fridge at any time.

For the bones, you will need beef bones. We do also use lamb bones and veal bones for this recipe but we love beef bones for dogs.

We recommend that you use a mixture of beef, lamb and veal bones but just use the type of bones that you like the best.

The other good thing about the bones in this recipe is that you get to enjoy them too!

The bones can be bought from your local butchers but we have also bought them from Tesco and Aldi and they have all been delicious.

This recipe makes plenty of soup and we freeze ours for a rainy day or for any other time when you don’t have the time to make your own broth.
